"Man Overboard Muster Drill” which Gemport Pilotage and Tug Services Department demonstrates in every six months held with the large turnout on 7 of July, 2015.
20 people participated in the exercise, which was a demonstration by using mannequins for in case someone falls overboard.
The fallen mannequin was rescued with a cradle named “Jason's cradle”, responded immediately and was referred to the first aid ambulance. Due to Pilot Captains constantly watching over the sea, it increases the risk of this type of risks. This exercise has been a major training for Gemport Pilotage and Tug Services Department of Education and was successfully completed.
