YILPORT Gävle Container Volumes Increase – 57% Market Share on the Swedish East Coast

YILPORT Gävle had a remarkable 30 percent surge in container volume from 2021 to 2023, solidfying its position as the leading container terminal on the East Coast. A recent report by Sveriges Hamnar, the industry organization, shows that YILPORT Gävle now handles over half of the containers on Sweden's east coast, reflecting its growing significance.

This achievement is attributed to the expansion project made in 2021, which propelled YILPORT Gävle's market share of Sweden's total container volume from 9 to 12 percent during 2021-2023.

Specifically focusing on the Swedish East Coast, YILPORT Gävle's market share surged by ten points, soaring from 47 to 57 percent.
