The railway expansion project at YILPORT Gävle Container Terminal is completed and the terminal is equipped with four railway tracks. The railway consists of four 300-meter-long tracks, a total of 1200 meters, making the terminal equipped to facilitate two full-length trains simultaneously.

By doubling the number of tracks, YILPORT Gävle is taking a step forward in enhancing the operational capacity, promoting transfers from road to sea and railway. This investment supports the seamless flow of goods, reduces congestion, and provides even better services while meeting the future need and demand for intermodal transport.
