On June 29, Transitex team was represented at the TAP Air Cargo Awards ceremony, where the company was honored as “Top Seller TAP Fresh”.

Transitex is a certified cargo agent in Portugal. Also, the company has a dedicated team for air cargo operations, in its Oporto office, where one of the company’s warehouse is located.

As a result of the development and expansion strategy in business areas, the company also used its’ sea freight know-how as a reference in air cargo. Increasingly, Transitex is a company prepared to provide logistics services for the trading of fresh fruits between two hemispheres, which allows consumers to have the same variety of fruits during 12 months of the year.”

After winning this category, Fernando Lima, Transitex CEO, commented: “TAP Fresh Award – Transitex received the award for the being the biggest carrier in FRESH segment, and as a result, awarded by the Portuguese airline TAP”

In May, Transitex announced that its Peru branch also became an IATA Cargo agent, which joined Brazil, Spain, and Portugal.
