As a part of the training process that we undertook seven months ago to train employees from the tally and gate areas as machine operators, fourteen YILPORT Puerto Bolívar employees received a certificate from the Driving School of The Road Equipment Operators and Mechanics Union that certifies them as ‘Professional Operators’ to drive heavy machinery and road equipment

Also thanks to their excellent performances, Gladys Armijos and Gabriela Torres became the first women to graduate as professional operators by SOMEC in Puerto Bolivar, as well as in the province of El Oro.
