YILPORT Puerto Bolívar is getting ready for the new equipment to arrive at the terminal with two state-of-the-art virtual simulators. As in Gebze and Gemlik terminals, the operational staff is trained in real-time simulation to control the real equipment.

New crane Simulators provide capability development and a safe environment for learning for the operators. The equipment has a 180 ° angle of view with five screens by simulating the sounds and movements. 4 simulation programs have given for different for the STS, RTG, Reachstaker, and Empty Handler cranes. For now, three people from the terminal operations staff have been already taking the first online training from the Canadian trainers. The second group will be in place later until the completion of the training for the staff.
