YILPORT Leixoes terminal moved more cargo in 2018 than in any time in the Port's history, racking up 660,852 TEU, a 6% increase compared to previous year. Nevertheless terminal recorded 17% growth on RoRo volume in 2018.

This record was achieved despite being in the process of reconverting the South Container Terminal with a normal decrease of available space. Safely success with efficiency is the testament to the high level at which YILPORT Leixoes team and labor partners performance.

Terminal’s strategic growth plan continues with investments and developments in line with our mission as handling containers more swiftly, safely and sustainably than ever before. In 2019, YILPORT Leixoes will continue to its mission while focusing on efficiency, quality, safety and mitigating any adverse impacts on the operation as construction progresses.
