    Cádiz port cargo traffic grew by 1.92% on the year in the first four months of this year to 1.3 million tonnes, backed by the 30% rise in solid bulk to 652,936 tonnes.
    In the segment of liquid bulk, the drop reached 50%, to 71,807 tonnes moved in the first four months of 2018. The general cargo traffic, on the other hand, fell 7% to 506,404 tonnes.
    The containerised cargo traffic, on the other hand, maintains practically the same volume of traffic until April 2018, with 168,000 tonnes, although there is a decrease of 7.8% in TEUs (18,768) and 3.7% in units (12,226).
    Cruise traffic rose 48% in the number of calls, with 77 in the first four months of the year, and a 77% rise in passengers to 113,686. The average size of the ships also grows, up 63%.
