The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) plans to launch a new service for the transport of ro-ro, containers and project cargo between Italy and Turkey.
The new line will start on April 3 and will be operated with two con-ro (container and ro-ro) ships that will connect twice a week the Turkish port of Izmir and the port of call Trieste, where MSC has been present since 1994 with its own dedicated container services.
This is the second service of this type offered by the company entered directly in the ro-ro sector only a few days ago with the launch of the first line dedicated to this category of cargo that regularly connects Northern Europe with West Africa.
