Huelva, Spain (PortSEurope) February 16, 2018 - Huelva port authority (Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva) has called a €3.6 million ($4.4 million) tender the works of access and road reorganization for the future Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL) in Punta del Sebo, whose execution period will be ten months.
The project consists of the construction of a new access for heavy traffic to the zone, which allows connecting the future logistics area, with the outer harbor and the Spanish road grid.
The award criterion is the economically most advantageous offer. The bidders must meet the requirements of economic, financial, technical and professional solvency will be able to place their offers until March 9.
With the launch of the logistics zone, Huelva port intends to consolidate new goals of diversification of services, commercial agreements and increased traffic. According to several highlights from the Huelva port, this project will provide port facilities with infrastructure and services with a high added value that can attract industries and improve the competitiveness of companies.
